High Road Productions partnered with SPOTLAB to produce the main stage at a private festival held at Playa Ponderosa in Northern Arizona. The event featured an amazing music lineup including Opiuo, The Funk Hunters, Moontricks, Chali 2na, Mark Woodyard, and much more.
The stage was an enclosed arch with columns of video wall suspended in the back, with a perfectly framed view of the ponderosa pines through the screens. The video wall was fed with a mix of generative and prerendered visuals as well as live camera angles (including a wireless crowd camera).
The lighting rig consisted of Elation Platinum FLX, Clay Paky K10, Clay Paky Sharpy, pixel mapped LED tubes and bars, and a 5W laser. The surrounding trees were illuminated with matching lighting colors and effects adding to the immersive atmosphere.
The event was fully catered (including 3am grilled cheese) with gourmet cuisines from Square Root Foods. A full craft cocktail bar was also available for guests to enjoy. Dewomp created cozy spaces for relaxation surrounding the bar and dance floor.
